Do you love Kayaking, but long for a nice mattress, warm shower and a great BBQ?  Located on the Georgian Bay, in Ontario, Canada, we have access to some of the best paddling waters in the world.   Located in the 30,000 islands, you can kayak in almost any direction and enjoy outstanding diversity, wildlife and scenery.   This really is a kayaker’s paradise.   Even for those accustomed to Kayaking in Ontario, they are normally taken by the incredible scenery.   Of course, our lodge based package is a plus for those who want some comfort after a day of kayaking or paddling.  Many enjoy a glass of wine watching the sunset as the entire property faces due West.

We have partnered with White Squall to run a five cabin-based kayak trips this summer as well as provide kayak rentals on-site. They are based out of Nobel and have been in business for over 22 years. Check out their web page and you will immediately pick up on their passion for the outdoors. I’ve dealt with them for years and they are simply super people.

Blessed to have a perfect launch spot for day trips to the inner islands, we are only 8 Miles from the Bustard Islands. Getting there can be accomplished by following the inner water ways and navigating through endless islands. Bring your digital camera and you can qualify for our “best photo” competition!

Day Trips
Several single and tandem fully-outfitted sea kayaks available for rent on site.  These are for day trips only.  If you wish to use these boats for overnight excursions, we would ask that you contact White Squall and they will consider your request. We will also ensure that there are kayak pfd's, paddles, paddle floats, pumps, sponges, skirts, whistles etc.

Walking Trail
Our resident wilderness man, Graeme Kilgour, has created a very pleasant and ecologically sensitive trail.  It begins on the property and loops around in-land lakes, pine trees and Canadian Shield.  It is a great way to stretch after a great meal.

Rental Fleet
We feel it is important to carry decent quality kayaks to maximize our customers’ experience.
Choose from a variety of single and tandem top quality polyethylene plastic kayaks with either rudders or skegs.
All kayaks have storage hatches for gear storage and come complete with paddles, pfds, safety gear (throw bag, pump, paddle float, spare paddle).

We stock the following six kayaks and will make provisions to supply more with advanced notice; these would be rentals from White Squall.
Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own.

The Kayaks for our rentals are provided by White Squall. They are the same ones they use themselves on their adventure tours and come fully equipped. We get fresh stock each year and they include makes like Boreal, Necky Kayaks and Current Designs.
